Dakota Kelly –

Thanks for all the good times, the memories will last a lifetime. I wish we had more time to spend together - there is so much more I have to say – despite this I’m thankful, and will cherish forever the time that we spent together. I’m not sure if you realized it, but your time here on earth touched the lives of so may. My life and the lives of countless others will forever be better off having met, worked, loved, laughed, and lived with you.

Thanks for all that you gave us!

Rest in peace little buddy, you will truly be missed.

Date of Passing: November 13, 2009

Dakota K. Alder, 19, of Pasadena, died Nov. 13, 2009.
Mr. Alder was born Oct. 20, 1990, in Virginia, and lived in Pasadena for the past 15 years. He was an assistant manager for Champs Sporting Goods since February 2009.
He enjoyed playing his X-Box, basketball, spending time with his family and friends and collecting shoes. He played baseball for the Anne Arundel Optimist Club and played football for the Pasadena Buccaneers Athletic Club.
He is survived by his parents, Robert S. Alder and Denise M. Alder (nee Brodsky) of Pasadena; his sister, Taylor M. Alder of Pasadena; and his grandparents, Charles T. and Yvonne V. Alder of Alabama, Dennis E. and his wife Mary Ellen Brodsky of Annapolis, and Laura L. and her husband Julies Gruber of California.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18 at McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home, P.A., 3204 Mountain Road, Pasadena. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Jenkins Memorial Church, 133 Riviera Drive Pasadena. Interment is private.
